Zachary Wilson

Zach Wilson is a student at Kumeyaay Community College, pursuing a degree in Kumeyaay Studies, and a descendant from the Morongo Band of Mission Indians. He is deeply passionate about ecology, conservation, and revitalizing indigenous & non-indigenous peoples' relationships with the land. He co-founded the student organization Emuht Mohay (Kumeyaay for 'Love of the Land'), where students utilize modern and traditional indigenous land stewardship techniques to manage a 50-acre nature preserve and village site at Cuyamaca Community College. In leisure moments, you can find Zach using iNaturalist somewhere in San Diego County.
