San Diego Bird Festival

San Diego Bird Festival Program and Registration

Following is the festival program and registration system. You can browse the catalog and sign up for programs here.

Most activities take place at: Marina Village Conference Center, 1936 Quivira Way, San Diego, CA 92109.  Lodging is available at the Dana Resort (across the street from the Conference Center) or you can get Cheep Lodging at Camp Surfbird (shuttles available). Information on lodging can be found in the menu list on the left.

Registration is easy! In October, we will post a worksheet, designed to help you keep track of the events you would like to sign up for.
Events in this catalog are sorted by date and then by the nature of the activity (field trips, classroom presentations, social events, etc). If the events are not visible to you in the menu below, simply click on the arrow or the plus sign next to the category heading. The events under the heading will be revealed.

When you wish to sign up for an activity, click the blue button in the event description. If you have not yet signed up for anything in the system, the blue button will look like a little person with a plus next to it. This icon means "Add a Person." You will be prompted to create an account or log in to an account if you already have one. When your account is created, you can sign up for the activity, or you can add additional people to your profile, and then add all of them to the activity. Once the system "knows" you, you can easily add the members of your party to any Festival activities.

Most Festival activities require a festival pass to register (some do not). This will be the first item added to your cart, prior to adding any activities. The festival pass is $35 for adults, $10 for youth ages 12-18, and free for youth under age 12.

Clicking "Continue Shopping" returns you to the program selection menu. When you are ready to check out, click "Check Out" and you will be taken to the page where you can complete your profile and pay.

The system gives you 30 minutes to complete your order, so we recommend you use the festival worksheet to plan your activities prior to registering.

The full festival program will be available to view in September. Registration begins November 1. Members of San Diego Audubon Society will have the opportunity to sign up in late October.

We look forward to seeing you at the festival.
