Cassandra Gonzalez

Cassandra is passionate about Nature Journaling, Education, Environmental Justice, and creating a space for everyone to enjoy nature! Cassandra holds a degree in Sociology with an emphasis in Social Justice with a minor in Environmental Studies and Policy from the University of San Diego. Cassandra has spent time working for the San Diego County Office of Education’s Outdoor School, where she taught students about birds, native plants, and about taking a closer look at the world around you. She continues to educate wildlife lovers at the San Diego Zoo, as well as work with wildlife. When she is not at the Audubon, you might catch her hiking, nature journaling, podcasting, or rearing monarchs!
