Eduardo "Eddie" Carrera
Eddie Carrera was born and raised in San Diego and has strong ancestral ties to the area being Kumeyaay. He loves the outdoors and is not only an advocate for the environment, but also for cultural inclusivity and Native American rights. Eddie studied biology at Mesa Community College and is attending UCSD for Biological Anthropology. His love for the outdoors began when his dad would take him on hikes through the Mission Gorge Trails.
