Habitat Restoration with American Academy of Pediatrics

San Diego Audubon Society and The American Academy of Pediatrics are excited to host a community service event to benefit both humans and native wildlife. AAP families are invited to give back to our bird community by helping to restore habitat at the Tijuana Slough National Wildlife Refuge.
Let's connect back with nature as we learn about native plants and their importance to birds and pollinators. You'll go home with a new appreciation for native plant species and take home a few native seeds to plant in your own yards.
Coffee, snacks and extra water will be provided. All tools will be provided including gloves but please come prepared in closed-toed shoes, bring a reusable water bottle (a mug too if you like coffee!) and a hat.
Note to the general public that this event is a PRIVATE event for American Academy of Pediatrics and their families only. If you are interested in learning how you can help restore habitat, please reach out to santamaria@sandiegoaudubon.org for other opportunities.
Your personal information will be used solely for the purposes of this event and will not be shared with any third parties.
