Habitat Restoration at FAA Island
Join San Diego Audubon as we restore nesting habitat for the California Least Tern, a federally endangered migratory seabird, at FAA Island. FAA Island is one of the most important California Least Tern nesting sites in Mission Bay! We will be removing invasive weeds to make room for these nesting endangered birds.
All supplies will be provided including tools, gloves, water and snacks, but come prepared in closed-toe shoes and bring a reusable water bottle and hat.
