Habitat Restoration with American Academy of Pediatrics

San Diego Audubon Society and The American Academy of Pediatrics are excited to host a community service event to benefit both humans and native wildlife. AAP families and members of the community are invited to give back to our bird community by helping to restore habitat at the Tijuana Slough National Wildlife Refuge.

Let's connect back with nature as we learn about native plants and their importance to birds and pollinators. You'll go home with a new appreciation for native plant species.

Snacks and extra water will be provided. All tools will be provided including gloves but please come prepared in closed-toed shoes, bring a reusable water bottle and a hat.
