Bird Walks: Bird and Butterfly Garden
The Bird & Butterfly Garden is a small gem in the midst of the Tijuana River Valley Regional Park. Trees, bushes, and various flowering plants have been brought together here that attract a varying population of birds (and butterflies) at different seasons of the year, and small drips are situated to provide fresh water to birds during dry spells. Warblers linger here for the winter, hawks prowl overhead, kinglets and wrens fuss in the shrubbery, and common ground doves are often present. Come explore this bounty of birdlife with us! Expect to cover about 2 miles on easy dirt paths. Capped at 12 participants. With Martha Wild and Anitra Kaye
