From the parking lot we will be walking on a closed gated graveled road with different habitats along the way. Eventually the roads will end and a narrow trail will lead us into a more forested environment. Depending on how quickly we progress, we will plan on spending some time at this end. Spring migrants and summer visitors will be sought, such as Yellow and Wilson’s Warblers, Phainopepla, Western Tanager, Western Kingbird, Vaux’s Swift, Black-chinned Hummingbirds and Blue Grosbeak. No restrooms. Capped at 25 participants.
