Wetlands are just now beginning to be appreciated for their unique place in the ecosystem. As researchers and scientists have increasingly learned about the benefits of wetlands, the marsh area of Mission Bay Park known as De Anza Cove has been highlighted as a huge potential benefit to not just the nearby ocean communities, but all of San Diego.
