Cheep Lodging at Camp Surf
Want to try something really different? Stay with us in the dormitory at Camp Surf. Camp Surf is a YMCA camp located in Imperial Beach. Fall asleep to the sounds of the crashing waves after fun-filled days birding at the Festival! Walk or ride a bike to Imperial Beach or Tijuana Valley Regional Park.
Each bunk has its own window, reading light, and storage for personal items. Each cabin sleeps up to 8 people. You can choose a bed in a male, female or mixed gender cabin. Breakfast is available in the lodge every morning. Restrooms are centrally located and shared facilities that will be cleaned and sanitized throughout each day. You must provide your own twin-size bed linens and bath towels. Cabins are heated by radiant heaters when necessary and cooled by ceiling fans and the ocean breeze.
A shuttle will be available to take Festival goers to and from camp (in time for breakfast!) however it will run on a limited schedule. We encourage you to provide your own transportation between Camp Surf and the Festival grounds.
$200 per person gets you a bunk for Feb 21-25, 2024. Check-in begins at 3:00 pm on Wednesday. Late check-ins can be accommodated. Check-out is at 10:00 am on Sunday
