In response to COVID-19 and to ensure the safety of our flock, we ask that all participants be fully vaccinated.
San Diego Audubon Birding Trips introduce newer birders, visiting birders, and anyone else who is interested to the varied habitats and avian inhabitants of San Diego County. Everyone is welcome, however, we are following precautions to avoid the spread of COVID-19. A requirement for participation at this point is being more than 2 weeks beyond the second vaccination (Pfizer/Moderna) or the single dose (Johnson and Johnson) at the time of the trip. A mask is not mandatory as of now, but any guidelines in place at the time of the outing will be followed. On-line registration is required. Caps on the number of participants on each outing are specified.
Bring binoculars, your scope, water, sunscreen, hat, and enthusiasm. Sign up by clicking on the field trip you would like to join. Hit the orange "Register Now" button and let us know how many are in your group.
If you have questions about Birding Trips in general, or would like to volunteer to lead a monthly birding trip, contact Jen Hajj. If you have questions about a particular trip for which you are signed up, contact the trip leader at the email address given in the confirmation email.
Online advanced registration is required for all trips. Because space is limited, we will open registration for the next month's trip the day following the trip in the present month (For example, registration for the Tecolote Canyon trip on the last Saturday of May will open the last Sunday of April).
Confirmation of your registration and additional information (if applicable) will be sent to you by email immediately following your registration.
