Our Work
The mission of the San Diego Audubon Society (SDAS) is to foster the protection and appreciation of birds, other wildlife, and their habitats, through education and study, and advocate for a cleaner, healthier environment. Current organization goals, as outlined in our strategic plan, include:

- Strengthening and expanding our conservation programs to better protect our region’s wildlife and habitat;
- Increasing our community’s understanding and appreciation of birds, other wildlife, and their habitats; and
- Enhancing the sustainability of SDAS through increased staffing levels, membership, volunteerism, collaboration with other organizations, and fundraising.
