The mission of the San Diego Audubon Society (SDAS) is to foster the protection and appreciation of birds, other wildlife, and their habitats, through education and study, and advocate for a cleaner, healthier environment. Current organization goals, as outlined in our strategic plan, include:
- Strengthening and expanding our conservation programs to better protect our region’s wildlife and habitat;
- Increasing our community’s understanding and appreciation of birds, other wildlife, and their habitats; and
- Enhancing the sustainability of SDAS through increased staffing levels, membership, volunteerism, collaboration with other organizations, and fundraising.
