Trip accommodations for the entire trip will be Gamboa Rainforest Resort. Days will be spent at various spectacular birding areas coast to coast including: the famous Achiote and Escobal Roads on Atlantic side, Pipeline Road just a few minutes ride from the Resort, and Semiphore Hill, Plantation Road, Metro Park, Summit Gardens and their Harpy Eagle breeding project. The return trip from the Atlantic side will be by train along the Canal. You will have time to observe a ship going through the locks and to enjoy the scenery of Lake Gatun and the Chagres River.
Some of the many colorful species to seek will be Orange-chinned Parakeet, Blue-crowned Motmot, Collared Aracari, Lance-tailed Manakin, Rosy Thrush-tanager, Blue Cotinga, Green Shrike-vireo, and a host of hummingbirds, parrots and raptor.

Trip price is $2800. double occupancy. Does not include air fare to and from Panama City. Does include all meals, transportation, entrance and permit fees.
