|Join the San Diego Audubon Society and San Diego Bird Festival participants on a trip to Belize March 9-15, 2015, at the conclusion of the San Diego Bird Festival.
Belize is a small Central American country whose conservation measures have protected a large portion of its natural environment. Belize's abundance of terrestrial and marine species and its diversity of ecosystems give it a key place in the globally significant Mesoamerican Biological Corridor.
On this 7-day journey, sponsored by the San Diego Audubon Society and operated by Holbrook Travel, look for some of the country’s hundreds of avian species in these protected areas while discovering the natural and cultural history that make Belize unique. Visit Maya ruins, waterfalls, and a variety of habitats for the chance to see stunning neotropical avifauna, while enjoying ample leisure time for exploring at your own pace.
