This is an exciting opportunity for volunteers to take on a leadership role in the conservation program and help lead other volunteers in the field at habitat restoration events.

Restore native habitat to help endangered birds!

On April 4, 2015 (9:30am-12:30pm) join San Diego Audubon as we remove invasive plants from Mariner's Point to protect the endangered California Least Tern!

Wear long pants, sturdy shoes, and sun/rain protection. Tools and water will be provided. Bring a reusable water bottle for refills.

Kendall Frost Marsh Revegetation Work Party!

The Kendall Frost Marsh upland habitat revegetation project is well underway- in kendall frost marshMay, heavy machinery graded the site to make a more gradual slope. The newly graded slopes will provide vital habitat for a wide variety of plants and wildlife including the endangered Light-Footed Ridgway's (Clapper) Rail. Come join our volunteer work party and help with erosion control, irrigation, and the fun part, planting native plants!
