Service Projects

Our fall restoration season has begun! If you would like to get involved with these community-based restoration events (no experience required!), email schwartz@sandiegoaudubon.org to get on our email list and receive event announcements.
The Kendall Frost Marsh upland habitat revegetation project is well underway- in kendall frost marshMay, heavy machinery graded the site to make a more gradual slope. The newly graded slopes will provide vital habitat for a wide variety of plants and wildlife including the endangered Light-Footed Ridgway's (Clapper) Rail. Come join our volunteer work party and help with erosion control, irrigation, and the fun part, planting native plants! To RSVP please contact our Conservation Project Coordinator, Megan Flaherty at flaherty@sandiegoaudubon.org.
