Normandie Wilson, an artist and part-time Art Educator with San Diego Audubon, will teach a drawing workshop for beginning, young, and not-so-young aspiring bird artists.

Southern California is home to more than 20 species of raptors. Hawks, eagles, falcons, and owls are awe-inspiring birds with enhanced powers of sight, flight, and hunting. Nancy Conney's program features rehabilitated live birds, offering unique opportunities for close and detailed examination.

Artist and Art Educator Normandie Wilson will help kids and their families create a large-format interactive bird painting that will be painted by everyone present.

Have you ever wanted to screech like an eagle, hoot like and owl, or coo like a dove? Nicole Perretta can imitate 160 bird calls and she will demonstrate some of the familiar birds during this class, and tell some bird calling secrets so you can sound like a bird too!

Join us for one of the fastest-growing and fun events in birding, sitting down. Participants and passersby step into a circle to help see and hear as many birds as they can, all the while learning about local birds and their habitats.
